Eri-hime looks so mean, just like her master. xD;;; I love drawing her because I can do so many things with her hair~ :3

And yes, her glare is as painful as her bite. Hehe~

The day I was officially hired by Mango Jam was also Shijirou's birthday~!

Initially, I pictured Kate to have black hair, but violet suits her well too. Then it gave me an idea that she could be Eri-hime's sister because they look alike~ Kate is younger because she is a newer creation than Eri.

I love how the corner designs are actually swirls of their hair. I should try this design more often...

ohhhhkaaay....after around 52321153350 yrs (okay, 2 months) of procrastinating, I finally managed to get this one done ( i think).

Now, I know the million plus mistakes I've made here, so you don't really have to point them out ^^; Whee~

...and lol, a cookie for anyone who gets the title's relation to the piece ^^; And yes, I know what's missing. XD Just pretend that she's...uhhh....fond of the quiet? ^^;;;

Ugh. Well, anyway, she's supposed to be Lei-san from one of the fourms I go to...I do hope Rei-nee won't squish me when she sees this XD *hides*

CrossOver: The Princes of A.illusions

When I still had my own website, the manga was able to reach 100,000 views and I was extremely happy. Fans were emailing me that they love Shijirou and Souji the most as they were both bishies and brothers.

They also play tennis in the real world, and because they look like characters from The Prince of Tennis, I decided to let them cosplay~ I'm pretty sure my artwork can't compare to Takeshi Konomi though. ^^;;;

This was also posted on Lei's birthday. I wanted to greet her in a special way... I hope she was happy~

I remember asking people in the chatroom to give me some ideas for quick sketches. Lei was the first one to request a chibi of her.

I think I was very addicted to Gundam SEED when this was made... Isn't it obvious?

This is one of my concept character sketches. Khyle's design hasn't really changed from the original, if at all.

He was really meant to look like a girl, because girls love him~ Hahaha~ And I'm told he could pass for a bishounen in real life too! I don't think his hair's that long though...

CrossOver: Sailor Lei Miko

When I was creating the characters of A.illusions, I noticed some similarities with my designs and existing anime series that I adored.

That was when I decided to draw some "cosplay" series. Takeuchi Naoko's "Sailor Moon" was one of the most influential manga and anime I've ever come across. This is my homage to her. ^_^

The Anime Illusions forums loved pairing up members in the Lover's Lane section. I was going to do a series of these, but the forum shut down, and I couldn't remember the list of pairs. ;A;

It is a sad ending to an awesome community. But then again, all things will come to pass... as it is written.

The first of a series of "Window Covers" I wanted to do. Since it's the beginning, I wanted the sky to look like a sunrise.

Rei's wings are pink in this illustration because they were strapped on and not Hitori's wings. Hitori's wings are red-orange, like fire.

Shortly before A.illusions' premier, Shijirou's mother had passed away. She had a long battle with cancer, and everyone in the community mourned along side Shijirou.

May she rest in peace and forever be blessed...

An Introduction to A.illusions

"A.illusions" is based on a true story that happened to the Anime Illusions forums back in 2004. All of the characters are based on real people, and their very real personalities.

I've been a member of the forums since 2002, thanks to an invitation made by "The Ipis Gang" in college. I was never the computer person back then, and even now, so I was skeptical in joining a very active online community.

But it was very easy to fall in love with the Anime Illusions. Almost as soon as I joined, I applied to become a Moderator to keep the forums clean and safe. Not long after, I was granted the title "Global Moderator" and eventually, I became one of the Administrators.

It was an extremely fun and stress relieving past time for me. I got to know the latest anime updates and discuss about it with people across the globe!

Little did I know that my experience with handling this community would eventually help me in getting my first full-time job. Not only that, but thanks to the idea of making a webcomic out of the incident, I became the continuing artist for the local manga publication, "Mango Jam: Twilight's Calling"!

Times have changed a lot since then... but some things still stay the same.

Despite the many hiatuses and several host changes, I made a promise to myself that I will eventually finish this manga, and hopefully some day, self-publish it and sell it in anime conventions and even online!

This is one of my earliest concept arts of Shijirou. It was a request from Shijirou himself to have an art of him and Eri from School Rumble.

It came out pretty well. The original is actually done with watercolor and chalk on oslo paper. I think Shijirou mentioned he still has it and that he laminated it. Ah... probably not the best way to preserve art, but w-well... *sweatdrop*

I'm glad he liked it anyway?
