( T_T) You have no idea how happy I am with this piece.

Lowfye wrote the most beautiful, fluffy fanfic about Fuu-san and his dog. It resonated with me so much because... I lost my own dog a few months back. I miss him dearly, and I often think that I probably didn't give him as much love as I could have in the little time that he was here... but I know I'm thinking this way because I miss him so much.

But I digress.

This piece was 90% drawn at work. I have an old laptop that runs on Windows 7, paired with the smallest Huion tablet on the market. Since I'm used my Cintiq, it took a few days before I could properly paint with a pen tablet. I'm honestly surprised it turned out as well as it did.

I may have drawn Doggo's paws too big though? But that's okay I guess. He's the best Doggo.

This turned out so cute? Ari had made a list of chibis that the magazine needed, and I managed to get the prompt "Online Meeting". I wanted to give him floating screens and hologram (projected?) keyboard, and this was the result!

I'm especially proud of the little sheep pin and slippers. (-w-*) Oh, and the chatboxes too!'

It's been a long time since I last posted here. I sincerely apologize for that...

But for now, let's talk about...

Happy BaaDay, Fuu-san! I'm so happy you're letting us celebrate your birthday with you this year! I was a little too ambitious and wasn't able to finish everything I wanted to give you, so I hope you don't mind waiting a little longer for the rest.

This is the first of three illustrations I did for Invenite Domum. I wanted him to look like a yakuza or at least someone mysterious, waiting for someone at a cyberpunk-like world.

The first version had normal looking hair, but his 1st year anniversary merch had his hair in a ponytail, and I wanted to draw that too.
